The 2009 fund raiser trail ride was again held at Sandy McNabb Park 19 kms west of Turner Valley in Kananaskis Country. It was a very pleasant day for riding, not too hot, not too cold, not too windy and not too cloudy and it didn't rain. It was a perfect day for a fun ride with fellow Morgan horse enthusiasts.

The Equine Foundation Trail Ride held on the Aug.22/23 weekend was a great success. It was held at Black Oak Stables in Orono, Ontario, which is a private Morgan horse farm nestled out in the woods on the boundary of Clarington and Kawartha Lakes. It is also conveniently located 10 minutes by horseback from the newly formed East Cross Forest under the management of Kawartha Lake Conservation.

New Brunswick's Bev Richardson and her Morgan Comanche won the EFC Cooler in 1996 at the EFC ride which raised $890.00.
